Conducted academic research involving LLMs for medical knowledge extraction from unstructured EHR data, at Indiana University - Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. Used open-source large language models (generic as well as fine-tuned for medical tasks) to evaluate the efficacy of LLMs for different kinds of medical data extraction. For that, I used the LAIR cluster at Indiana University, which provided the necessary compute power.
